assuming you keep your vehicle in decent shape and don't draw too much attention, do the old bill bother you much or no more than other road users? |

Unless they have reason to pull you over, they wont. But the council, police, DVLA, inland revenue, do spot checks every now and again. Trying to catch the naunties out.

How do they check for red diesel? Do they siphon some out and just check the colour? |

They stick a dipstick down and check the results, takes a good 2 or 3 seconds.

There's a bloke selling blue dye on Ebay.......oh yes, I dye my deisel blue officer so that it's distinguishable if it get's stolen....yeah, right! |
