An unexpected event Moors Murderer Ian Brady may have revealed information about where one of his victims, 12-year-old Keith Bennett, is buried, detectives believe. Police are investigating whether Brady gave details to his mental health advocate, Jackie Powell, during a visit to his psychiatric hospital. Ms Powell was arrested in south Wales on suspicion of preventing the lawful burial of a body and has been bailed. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-19292164 |

I know Keith's mum will get some comfort knowing where her son is buried but it doesn't help the fact that Brady is an oxygen thief. |

And the Alleged Letter with the Details cant be opened until he dies...and who's to say that even when it is opened that it might contain no more than the words " HA HA" as that Mans one sick lizard. The police should open it now, and to hell with the opening it after his death bit. |

They probably won't find anything tbh, after this time Keith will have naturally dissolved, unless a body is in the right sort of soil it generally breaks down completely after 25 years, remember he had no funeral parlour prep, nor will he have been buried in a coffin, And I agree, why has Brady been allowed his silence, when you get to this stage and the vileness of it you can't be held accountable for returning the favour, I won't go into details but I know if they'd let the right sort of green combats wearing person in the room with him all the details would've been released long ago, that worm would break in 15 minutes. |

the other victims were buried on saddleworth moor, they could be under the motorway, but peat moves, and while its acidic im sure i read it can also preserve bodies, i think each area is different. Quote: Bog bodies, which are also known as bog people, are the naturally preserved human corpses found in the sphagnum bogs in Northern Europe. Unlike most ancient human remains, bog bodies have retained their skin and internal organs due to the unusual conditions of the surrounding area. These conditions include highly acidic water, low temperature, and a lack of oxygen, combining to preserve but severely tan their skin. Despite the fact that their skin is preserved, their bones are generally not, as the acid in the peat dissolves the calcium phosphate of bone.
