My problem: When I was in hospital last year, my phone was 'drowned.' Being a Windows Mobile 6.*, I had Java apps including the ability to take card payments via TaxiPay. My replacement phone is a Windows Phone 7.* which doesn't support the old apps or much else, it seems. Is anyone aware of a card payment processing app compatible with WP 7.*? I have another year to run on my contract so changing the phone is not an option at present. |

I use Taxipay on my Android phone. It might be worth your while, just buying a cheap/unlocked Android/Blackberry phone and using that in the meantime. I expect the same username and password should work, as I also had a Blackberry and had used Taxipay on that as well. |

I don't currently take enough card payments to probably justify even a small outlay on a cheap phone, hence wishing to find another app operated on the same lines as TaxiPay. However, you may be right because I think that now Windows 8 is in the market, developers won't even bother with WP7 so I'll be stuffed if I dig my heels in!! |
