the past few weeks work has been going great like its actually picking up both days and nights, im doing about 2-3 rank fares per hour + radio jobs during the day.
nights ive heard during the week is abit quiet but the weekends cover it all,
night drivers mainly get work from the station per train on average about 8-10 take a cab so basically each train after 5pm covers about 8-10 cabs.
hows work going out there in your areas hope its good?

Sorry to say work in our patch is in fact getting worse
Due in sum part to Hull becoming saturated with cars and offices looking further afield for work,
Not good

I normally drive a HC on Friday's but the owner wanted to take it out so I had a PH. It was the worst Friday I've ever had in the 21 months I've been driving. Luckily saturday was back to normal. Apparently days around here are fine but Sun to Thurs nights are dead.

Been rubbish here since the kids went back to school in sept. Nights in the week dead, Fridays and Saturdays ok, sundays dead. Hope it picks up soon but can't see it returning to summer levels until xmas time (works parties etc)

Some Seasonal Station/Airport areas of work have Picked up...But that's somewhat offset by a drop in the Stock-In regular work such as Pub, Club, Diners and general everyday stuff.

Other than my Contract work, once the Seasonal work goes, then It's going to be a pretty miserable spell ahead...and with another nasty Winter forecast it ain,t looking to rosy.

You could always change your plate to hack Blood and go cruising the streets, wont cost anything more to do it apart from a meter

A lot will depend if you live in a Uni Town/City with the students being back! Other that that what has changed?................... We are still in the sh!t !

Mervyn has given up! The P.Ms saying nothing, probably waiting for Greece, Spain,Portugal,France to bail him out by giving out worse news of their problems than ours.

The last two/three weeks of this month will revert back to as was with October not being much better - we have the Autumn series Rugby to help us out during November and maybe some xmas parties during December.............remember "Black Friday" (xmas) last year! well down here it just did not happen as in the past by a long way - and quite frankly I see not a lot changing.

The only time it is going to change is when those who are working are given substantial rises - and hell will freeze over before that happens OR if they find some way of getting cheap money to the population to spend spend spend - and then it is back to square one again.

Capitalism as it is, is broken very badly, and needs completely sorting out. Wealth needs a fairer way of distribution i.e larger pay packets from companies that can afford it! But! that is not going to happen, so get used to the way that we now live.

Would the fact that you worked very little last year have much to do with it?
