So 6 weeks ago my brokers got confirmation i was due a £700 refund

"it takes 6 to 8 weeks"

yesterday i rang the brokers only to be told "it needs our directors signature and they arent in every day, you will have a cheque within 2 weeks"

after i thought "if the BROKERS directors have to sign it, it must be in the BROKERS bank"....

had again.....

funny how a refund takes 8 weeks, when a premium has to be paid there and then

Send them an invoice for lost interest at the bank's usual rate and pursue it through small claims.
set the bailiffs on them if they don't pay...
