Another Kick in the teeth for our boys and girls who put their lives on the line daily, from a government more intent on protecting those murderous IED laying savages who would skin you alive as quick as look at you. Should our Government not be defending our troops from legal action rather than enforce legal action upon them...it was Insurgents intent on killing them that they were up against, the Taliban don't play by the rules of engagement so why the hell should our boys be tried for trying to defend themselves and their mates from these barbarians. They should be defending our troops, but that doesn't allow troops to allegedly murder captured soldiers. |

They should be defending our troops, but that doesn't allow troops to allegedly murder captured enemy. Surely we are better than that?

You just couldn't make it up could you, do the Taliban adhere to the Geneva Convention? Nope I didn't think they did, they'll kill anyone they capture. Eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth. |

Let them burn your flag and poppies, Let them behead civilians, But don't let your own lads shoot anyone unless they've asked for i.d first, You can't train the dog to ring fight and then expect it to sit on your lap later, pick a side of the fence, if our troops ain't up to lefty standards then I suggest the left gets combats on and finishes it's gentleman war itself, FOR THE RECORD I hope they kicked 9 barrels out of the civilian killer Talli trooper before he finally went to get his 40 minging virgins. Or let me put it another way You sit at breakfast with your unit, you go out in the field and return for dinner, only there are 4 missing from the table that shared breakfast with you, you then find and capture an enemy soldier, do you..... 1 - Think about the 4 crates out back with your mates bodies in or 2 - Want instant gratification 3 - Say to yourself, here have some food and aid and watch the gutless set him free again so he can kill more civilians If these lads end up in jail it just shows the place is really finished, it's a perfect example of how a thief who gets his justs from the home owner then sues the home owner for damages, this sort of thing challenges my patriotism to the max, for me it's another fine example of how much the wrong people have the power, and remember it's these wronguns that started this dam war out there. |

As for the other comments - again - whether we like it or not we are subject to the laws of war - whether the other side work to them or not - every soldier and service personel is aware of this - just are they are of those US troops that have committed similar crimes. |

WE are there evidently to bring peace and democracy with stability by behaving like savages presumably we assist that process bollocks the British forces have A LONG AND EXTENSIVE HISTORY OF WAR CRIMES! JUST ADD THIS ONE TO THE LIST FFS

Bottom line is this should've stayed internal! we shouldn't know anything about it, the press and the military again, Now weigh up what we do know, the Talicont member was wounded, as of yet it's not known how badly but if you have a hole in you you bleed out, maybe he had his arms or legs missing at this time, maybe they simply didn't give him any aid and watched him gargle his own blood, maybe they played darts with him, we don't know, what we do know is he and his kind cut the heads off people while they are alive, In the Falklands Doc Jolly and his team tended the Arge wounded, difference here is the Arge boys didn't want to be there, nor did they commit the sort of gutless acts of war against civilians, so even though they were the enemy, they were a civilised enemy, the cavies aren't civilised at all and that's the difference, no matter how fair we do it, they won't appreciate it one bit, you can't educate these minds, they are what they are and they wouldn't show you a seconds mercy so put your hankies away for them and back our boys. |

The Royal Marines are the finest fighting force in the world, if they can flush the Taliban out let them do it no matter what they do in the process. |

If we descend to their level it makes us no better than them, and we are We expect certain standards from HM forces and usually we get it, but sometimes standards slip. Im sure the truth will out |
