I have just gotten onto the end of a post putting my two pence worth in - nothing controversial - just a comment concerning racism of what is and what is not racism  ................and it is taken down. It would seem that we are not allowed to talk about it  .Surely it is time for a statement from the Site owners/moderators. |

iTS A FREQUENT OCCURENCE JOHN I HAVE NOTICED A LOT OF IT ITS CALLED CENSORSHIP AND I AM SURPRISED THAT JOHN YOUR THE ONLY ONE TO MENTION IT, SEEMS SOMEONE IS AGAINST FREE SPEECH, CAN UNDERSTAND FOUL AND ABUSIVE LANGUAGE BEING PULLED BUT POLITICAL CENSORSHIP NO WAY UNLESS ITS RACIST ANYONE CARE TO EXPLAIN

all web forums do it they have to otherwise they could land themselves in court or get shut down the vast majority is allowed but some things would need to be removed The question I would ask you is this which would you rather this forum continues providing a welath of information and lots of banter or we lose it all together along with the databases of court cases and all the other useful info |

In this instance there was no reason to pull it. |

Looks like the work of a MarKist to me.

If we cant express ourselves freely then whats the point of such forums, If the Forum administrators live in fear of being wrongly prosecuted for something that a forum member submits then the forum is on the slippery slope to becoming mundane and uninteresting. Would it not be better to let people have their say and then if they over step the mark they can then place the blame firmly at the person who submitted it. Seems a tad late now after all the deeply personal and malicious Mud flinging that's being going on in a certain section on TDO to be cracking the whip.. Nice as it is to be a member of TDO its not the be all and end all of life as we know it. |

Perhaps the way forward is for the site to have a disclaimer statement similar to the newspapers, for when readers are allowed to comment via their own forums. |

I see our man has elected not to comment, obviously seen the tide of opinion against his, Let me tell you something, I will banned or not access your website mate, there is jack you can do to stop me, this is because I know how, I could black you out completely if I felt the need, so be a good boy and stop messing with the threads and we (you) won't have a problem will we, last and final warning.
