Ethanol is a pump fuel in the USA, but not here

Skippy this is technology that dates back to WW2 it is very easy to convert water and co2 into methanol and then convert that to suitable other liquids BUT it is pricey and energy intensive it could solve the worlds co2 emmission problems but we have to build several thousand nuclear power stations to produce the power needed to do it ! |

The most efficient way to deal with land fill methane is to use it to generate power using specially adapted diesel engines which can run on methane that's what they do at Stewartby and many of the bigger land fill sites |
