London is an anomaly. Throughout the UK, apart from London, private hire drivers and taxi drivers take the same knowledge test. Private hire drivers are regulated to the same level as taxi drivers. In the eyes of the public they are no different. This is all about the customer and vested interests in the taxi trade which will be swept away soon in my opinion.

The Law Commission’s review will consider what is best for the customer. The law will then be changed to provide a better service for the customer. In London marshalled private hire ranks will commence in the west end and city. The taxi touts that have provided this service for years will finally be arrested and they will be replaced with legal private hire ranks to get people home safely. In London these legal private hire ranks will be operated only at night.

I believe this is the reason that taxi touts are allowed to operate throughout London with impunity. TfL is waiting for a change in the law to allow them to establish legal private hire ranks to cope with the demand at night.

Cab4now is another Addison Lee slave and dreamer, he hangs around 24 hour cab washes trying to engage real London taxi drivers in conversation.

A weird one if ever there was one.

Punters are now waking up to their over inflated prices and drivers who rely sat nav units.

A further example of this cretin can be found with a selective video of London taxis forming 'an illegal rank at the grosvener house hotel'

What numb nuts doesn't mention, perhaps due to his limited English or understanding of British law, is the taxis are queuing to pick up from the head of an 8 cab rank which is blocked by the scabs waiting to pick up or tout people leaving the GHH ballroom.

Thats why you drive for addison lee mate . . .

Yes these ranks will come mainly because the hacks wont work after 11pm only 8% of them can be botherd :D

Top test is an effing farce proprietors test their own drivers ha ha 90% of proprietors are crooks :evil: :evil: :evil:

round here more than 50% of hacks work after 11PM not that there is enough work for them !
