If you are good at it it can be very lucrative BUT there are a lot of very highly trained (university degree) professionals out there chasing that sort of work and a really good digital SLR will set you back £10000 !!! |

Cheers, id never be arty-farty but having had 4 family weddings in 18 months Ive seen some right shoddy mickey takes, £500 for 40 pictures at mates rates! |

I'll second that. At my son's wedding two years ago, the two photographers were using five cameras plus other equipment. Total value estimated at between £35K and £50K. |
