That when you call a company with an inquiry and they say they'll call you back they never do, Ordered a gearbox on Wednesday from a company in Barnsley, said it would be here in 2-3 days and I'm still waiting. Got car booked in on Monday too whilst I'm away for a few days, gonna have to cancel, really p*sses me off. Anybody else find this????

Rant over and no I don't feel any better ](*,)

£40? im sure having his cab off the road has lost him more than that and 400 miles worth of fuel

OR, get palletline/palletways/pallex to collect, on a pallet, overnight, £45

Transit Van on a 24 hour hire, £45 there and back gearbox sorted.

you dont need a transit for a scudo gearbox.... and estate car will do, or even a hatchback

It's getting delivered FOC. Cab is still on the road just the diff bearings are a bit noisy. Managed to get a gearbox with 6 months warranty pretty reasonable. It wasn't the wait for box that was bothering me, it's just the I'll call you back in 10mins bit that never happens. :evil:

ahhh, parts suppliers minutes are different to normal minutes and thats assuming the scrap of paper your number was on (if written down right) hadnt blown out the window...
