Really quiet friday night.
Started work at 6pm went into the station did few fares here and there just local.
Then at 11pm got fare to Garston near Watford 24miles got back into town 12:20 station full 15 cabs waiting so went into market another 15cabs waiting so drove up to the other rank but was full so came back to market and ranked up and waited and waited 2:15 got a £4 fare and just ended my night didnt bother going back.

Yer it was a really bad night in bed with flu but by sounds of it didnt miss much

Pretty poor here last night aswell. Nothing around after 1am at all.

non stop for me, started at seven last night, finished at 5am....

01.30 am, drove past the local Walkabout and could see the bar staff. Never a good sign! I didn't do too bad but as now seems to be the norm, I got more work off the datahead than from the rank.

I came on road after i closed the shop about 11ish went straight to station and stayed there till half2 did 5 jobs then came up to town did 2 jobs then went straight home took in £56

I didn't work but mates who did said was pure sh**.

Well at least saturday was better!

Started work @ 4pm, didn't stop until 3.30am, everytime I cleared there were jobs waiting... Best saturday for a good while.

Just got back from oakley picked up from town on meter £30

Had a really really good night












went out 8 other family members to a Nepaliese (Nepali?) "Gurkha" restaurant for a birthday meal, and cut the cake with a rather big and sharp kukri

Yup Saturday not bad. In the PH and it normally dies about 02.00 for PH. Hacks go on past that. There is some PH work apparently between 04.00 and 06.00 when the clubs in the next town finish but it is messy then.

In New Romney, we had a good Friday during the day plus some "disyance" evening work, but local stuff, nothing! Saturday totally DEAD! A couple of local fares around closing time (2330) and that's all. today a couple of local fares, not worth starting the car for!
