Taxi Driver Online

Has anyone come across the above company? They are TPI in a claim for which their client is 100% liable and they have admitted (Rear end shunt). They have so far taken more than a month to authorise repairs to my vehicle and, at the time of writing, still have not done so. Has anyone else had similar experiences with this company?

Why have you not had the work done under your own insurance and got your insurers to get the payment from them?

I did but they put me on to a claims management company who were going to take 5 days, inc weekend, to get me a hire car wired with our system. A local claims manager already has cars wired for our system so I was on the road and working before the relevant weekend. But, I still want my car, a top of the range Insignia, rather than the crappy basic Octavia I've been driving for a month.

You outline better than anyone else can why it has taken so long.

The claims firm are charging £150+ a day for the car, why on earth would they want to rush things?

I would get medication for that ailment strait away, what possesses you to want the second most unreliable car on the planet next to the TX.

If your plated vehicle gets hit from behind and the 3rd party admit liability (and happen to be insured) the fastest conclusion will come not from using an "accident management company" nor contacting/claiming off your insurance, get the 3rd parties brokers details (or insurance company), ring them and point out your vehicle is your income and living, I can assure you that once the penny drops you will get fast tracked to a conclusion, the 3rd parties insurers want you off their "books" as you may claim loss of income too.

My previous saloon took a hit, within 7 days i had a cheque for the agreed value and 7 days later another cheque for all the associated costs (plating, meter fitting, signs,etc) plus when the assesor called i agreed a scrap value for my car (on my drive) and used it for parts to repair another car, and sold bits off it too.

If possible get your vehicle back onto your drive/property then YOU are in charge, if its taken by recovery to a storage yard you have no control over what happens.
