got a frightening email the other day saying that our debt levels are growing at a much faster rate than Greece Italy Spain Ireland put together and that by 2015 our debt levels per head of population will be double those of the US just before the great depression

The truth is we have maxed out national credit card already the books have to be balanced all that the government has done is tinkered with it not fixed it and I doubt any government can until it it all comes crashing down around our heads

Maybe we should abandon the SS EU-Titanic before she drowns us all, I just wonder how much money we would save if we hadn't been obliged to Absorb a Million or so European Migrants into our systems, then how much more we would have saved by not paying in more cash than we get back out of the EU.

I'm sure we could sell our our goods on the world markets just the same, It certainly does not impede the sales of Chinese or other non EU nations goods over here just because they are not part of the EU...and we wouldnt be hamstrung by the Zealots that blast Regulations out of Europe faster than a diarrheatic Pig can blast out slurry.

I'd reckon we would be out of the mire faster if we had less of the mire to sink in..

Bang on the money, there was no need for all the cuts in the first place, keep the public sector workers in employment so it stimulates spending which stimulates growth which equals us coming out of a recession.

Great theory, but where does the money come from in the first place?

The same place as the £500billion of funding for lending (quantitative easing) which has done nothing. The same place as the billions being pumped into the Workplace Environment by the Con Dems.

While we're at it we are about to lose our AAA credit rating.

That's cos we got no money left to pay back our Debt's.....We gave it all and are still giving it away by the £billion to support the bloated Public sector workers and their Bullet proof Jobs, Golden Handshakes and Enviable pension Schemes. They get a shed load of Perks that we'd never get.

No, If you want to Increase spending then Cut Taxation to the People who make the money and stop giving so much money away to the over served Public Sector who live off the fat of the land.

Why the hell should your or I subsidise their Job security and Pension pots whilst we end up with bugger all other than a future of worry.
