 Post subject: got the hump.....

filled up friday night, £63.02

put my card in, put my pin in.....

cashier said it hadnt gone thru, could i use her other terminal

put my card in, payment OK

looking on my online bank statement it shows a difference between last balance and available of.... £126.04....

looks like a phone call at 9am then!

I hope they've not cloned your card details. It wasn't one of these non English garages was it? We had a spate of card cloning last year where cards were cloned then used thousands of miles away.

Same here, it was a Shell garage on the A611 not far from me, when it was in the local paper that cards had been cloned from customers who'd used that filling station I was like "WTF" I've used my card there a few times. I checked up online but I was OK.

well today I discovered that on saturday night unbeknown to me some kind customer forced the rear sliding window and broke the catches in a way which means it now cannot be closed :sad:

well half an hour with an assortment of pliers screwdrivers and a mallet this morning finally got it closed now all I have to do is stop anyone else trying to open it !

as soon as a seller enters an amount and the card gets read it gets a "ghost" status, if the accept message doesnt get back to the vendor the transaction sits on your account for 7 days...... i had 2 transactions, 6.30pm and 6.31pm, so i had barclays wipe the 1st
