our new private enterprise traffic wardens are getting a bit insistent that we don't drop passengers off in the central square which is a "loading zone" I have tried googling to find the law on this issue but keep getting the Aussie version does anyone know where the UK version can be found because I am fairly sure cars are allowed to drop passengers off in one |

You are unloading, or loading when picking/dropping punters off. You need to contact your local council parking officers for official confirmation you wont get a ticket. If they say no then we will re-visit the issue, if they say yes then print it off and stick it in the motor. |

I once spent an hour looking for the M&S (Mansfield) goods-in bay, had to ring em....."we havent got one, use the customer pickup point" under an archway with a sharp 90 degree turn...(between "PET SCENE" and "American nails", Regent street) used to have 2 drops in SIA, cant remember who though, last drop friday was a unit off the dual carriageway (orchard way) and then onto the M1 south back home... |
