I took a taxi today!

Post subject:  I took a taxi today!
and the driver didnt put the meter on......lol

not that the display was visible hid by charger cables for phone and satnav

Should have asked him if it was broken, and say you will mention it to your brother who works in the HCO. :wink:

The ones that I have had...........usually tell me at the end of the journey!! They tell me in most cases to thank me for being honest...........as there are so many out there - that are not.

There's a taxi driver we pick up from a pub to take home, there are two routes that you can go and both are exactly the same distance.

The first time I get him I go left and he starts ranting it's the long way and I should have turned right, I say it's the same and he should know that being a taxi driver. We argue all the way back to his, £4.60 on the clock.

The second time I get him I go right and straight away he's giving it the old 'going the long way tonight are we' same argument and same £4.60 when we arrive.

Third time I get him we get to the end of the pubs drive and I say 'which way, left or right?' His reply ---- 'You should know, you're a f**king taxi driver aren't you' #-o

He doesn't get taxis from us anymore. :wink:
