i was actually looking at a Berlingo WAV, but since they load from the rear they don't qualify to be a WAV in this district. and plus i don't really think the berlingo is to reliable anyways. so what make/model you looking at?

till July 18th, nothing, not rocking the boat, gotta do 3500 miles to the finish wire

that £50 for 8 miles a day trumps my 100 a day for £100

damn

£250 a week, 40 miles (with nil dead miles) thats £7 in fuel and little wear and tear

well thats not too bad, i do a contract from motherwell to linlithgow, drop him off at school in the morning and pick him back up in the afternoon. about a 53 mile round trip, £70 a day, does me and last year i took two kids up to the same school school and it was £100 a day, didn't even have my radio or datahead in as it done me down to a tea that contract, but was quite allot of fuel and still need an escort

Have you been offered it? our council would never offer a run that we didn't register a suitable vehicle for at the time when we joined their framework agreement.

Is the law different up in Scotland?

here only a PH with an ops licence can take a job, in some areas that licence is £500

many bases wont allow "private" jobs even for hacks, get seen dropping at an airport and it didnt go through the books and your in the office my lad....

Up here you don't need an Operators office license unless you run 4 vehicles ore more. no seperate ops license unless it's a hidden part of my PH license. but even on Northumberland Tenders I've never seen an Operators license as a prerequisite to tendering!!
