Cab wise, absolute [edited by admin] as usual, but luckily had one of the buses out on a wedding job; we got a £40 tip too!!

Friday night wasn't too bad, just me covering the work, a few local trips between 11 and 0100, 45 miles, £65. Beats going to Gatwick for £75 like some of the numpties round here do! (165 mile round trip,4 hours work). 8)

It was too nice to work.............so I didn't, and consequently did not make any money, but a night down the bay, and then onto a pub made for a very good night........... Got the rest of the year to make money

Trade wise it is pretty predictable, usually one good weekend out of four., Friday was alright ish, with Saturday looking to have all the ingredients to be a good shift.

Unless something miraculous happens, I can NEVER see it getting any better.....................THIS IS THE WAY WE LIVE.

Good post,i cant ever see things being that good in the near future. If youve been in the job for more than 7,8 years you can probally remember it being ok.Suppose if your newish to it then it would be easier to deal with

Saturday was good for us. This week, Monday to Sunday, has been my best week this year for cash jobs. I also had a good week for contract work. This coming week is also looking good.

Didn't work the night, as those days are long gone, however I had a very good weekend. \:D/

I think things will get better in the years to come, bit by bit.

There is money out there, it's just folks are scared stiff to spend it.

Interesting, when our LOs are out there is a mass exodus of hackneys, especially the independents.

Strange that.
