Post subject:  My New Hackney Carriage Black Cab

Yesterday took the new cab i bought to a taxi garage in Coventry got it fully Checked out everythink, and have it a inside and out full valet.
Bought the cab saturday.
And now its all ready for my 5am Shift start, Going to dress up in my white asian clothes with my black sleevless blazer just for today as its a big day for me 1st day working in MY OWN new cab.

Good on you. You're lucky to get a vehicle of that age licenced. Some areas have stupidly low ages for "new" vehicles to their system. Wishing you well .

our LA allows 1st plate on a 10 year old "purpose built" vehicle

not sure what a "purpose built" is and they dont answer emails if they can help it

How come the photos show it at kingston &wimbledon taxi garages in london ? Only asking cause i recognised the garage.

Yh took it there as wanted to give it in P/X for a newer maybe 2010-2011 Tx4 but there rates are not good and they dont offer much for your cab.
Before i bought i heard it was a 05 as its hardly came on road as he didnt drive much but then when went to see it it was a 06 but i still prefer the tx4.
My day was ok 5am-5pm 1Hour break in between was a good day, Now the night driver gone untill about 2am.

Yhh its same cab im getting a Tx4 and Untill then keeping mine till we swap but damn they ripp you off.
