The other week I had the same situation - got out of the cab and gave the driver an ear full letting him know that it was not going to happen on a regular basis!
Okay you are thinking then why did I take the fare? I took the fare for a number of reasons.......listed in no particular order, 1. I new that the driver concerned was probably looking for an out of town fare! On that particular night he would have had to wait forever.....so serve the bugger right. 2. I did not want to embarrass the lady passenger by kicking up a fuss, and 3. I suppose this was more than any other reason in the back of my mind..............What if I had dug my heels in, and refused the fare, because of the other driver - could I also have been done for refusing a fare?
