I always considered him the best of the Not the nine o'clock news gang shame his career didn't go on to greater things although alas smith and Jones was watchable save for griff rhys jones who i have never found funny

such a shame my sympathies to the family

Actually if I remember correctly they took it in turns to play the "straight man" like most modern comedy
