Shock reports of sex attacks in popular holiday resort Marmaris
A TERRIFIED British woman escaped a knife-point sex attack as another woman reported a rape in the notorious Turkish resort of Marmaris.
Two men have been arrested after the separate attacks – one of which happened in an apartment, the other in a taxi.
According to The Sunday Mirror, the first victim, 28, woke around 4am to see a man brandishing a blade at the end of her bed.
Harun K, the suspected attacker, allegedly tried to rape her but luckily she managed to beat him off.
The woman, who was living in Turkey for work, started screaming and drew blood by biting his fingers.
She then kicked him in the groin and managed to escape to the bathroom where she locked the door and screamed for help.
Thankfully her brave neighbours ran to her aid and caught the attacker in the garden as he tried to run away.
Harun K was arrested and has since been remanded in custody. He denies any involvement in the attack despite his fingerprints and DNA placing him at the scene.
The second victim, 21, was allegedly raped by her taxi driver when she did not have the money for her fare.
When the driver realised she had no money, he drove her a few miles from her hotel where the alleged attack took place.

He has been arrested but insists the sex was consensual.
Last week The Sun reported how British teen Faye Jones ran away with her with her breakdancing Turkish boyfriend from the same resort.
And in June, 17-year-old Brit Dwayne Ward was robbed, stripped naked, stabbed with a penknife and slashed with a razor for “kissing a Turkish girl” in Marmaris.
