I usually take £10 * 3, £5 * 3, £1 * 24, £4 in 50s, £1.40ish in 20s, £1 in 10s Only takes a couple of small jobs (< £5) and they pay in a £20 notes to use your notes up. I've had nights where I've run out of £1 coins after a few hours as all the jobs came to just over £5 and they all paid with £10 notes. I've had the opposite where I've ended up with £60+ in pound coins at the end of a shift. Does the firm you drive for do deliveries for local Chinese and Indian take-aways? If so you may end up getting a large order where you hand over a large amount of money when you collect the food to deliver it. Mileage? Assuming your having 1 day a week off, 30k works out at about 95miles a day (115 if a five day week). Just because you've done 40k in a year doesn't mean you've done better than somebody that has only done 30k. The 40k driver may be somebody who is happy doing airport/out of town runs where he only made about the same that you made in the same time by just doing multiple local jobs. You'll have some nights where you'll get run daft distances for small jobs, then other nights you'll have jobs that are just around the corner from where you currently are. Have fun, you'll meet some great people and also some complete w**kers. Some will be grateful of the service you offer, some will moan from the second they get in the car (cars to cold/hot, why were you so long or to quick, don't like the smell of the air freshener you use etc). |

Thanks in advance I usually take a bag of cash about £20-30 and as many fivers as I have. As for how much you can earn, that depends on what hours you work and how many you work. Rule number 1 is don't listen to the PH operator when he tells you what drivers are earning. All he wants is your cash. |

reccommend £30 in change at least £20 of which is £1 coins and a minimum of £30 in £5 notes it's not unusual to do 5 or 6 fares in a row paying with bigger notes |
