Hi Cabbies,

I’m the editor of a national taxi publication and we are looking to recruit cab and taxi drivers from across the country to write various columns for the magazine. These range from opinion pieces to a-day-in-the-life. If there is something you wish to write about then let us know; we are open to your suggestions. You don’t need to be a trained journalist, just up for a laugh.

While these wont be paid for we can include your picture and details. This should be fun and it’s a good way to get your business out there.

They will only be a few hundred words long and only once a month, we wont be asking you to write pages, we want them short and sweet!

Please call me on 0113 244 1007 or email me on paul.rayment@leedsguide.co.uk

Keep on cabbing

Paul

Talking of that, why have you got no advertising on your motor? :?

Are the advertisers a bit dubious about advertising on Metros?

I thought it would double the motor's value.

it's just an offer. If someone wants to write then there is an opening. If you don't wish to then that is your choice.

For the sake of getting writting a few hundered words a month an getting your firm in the press I thought it was a pretty fair deal.

The offer is still open

But then these guys are never keen to tell the real story 8)

When I first got this cab, the panels were all different shades of red. So I had supersides to cover this.
When the advertiser agency ended the contract I also got a free respray.
Looks nice now, I don't want adverts on my cab. It lowers the tone.
