Has anyone seen any good private plates in the trade? I think can give a really professional look. They seem to use them more in Scotland. The best I've seen is TAX 1E in Manchester. Any good ones out there? |

I've seen some Irish ones like VGI 5454 - Company phone numbers. The T2 CAB type of plates are common too. As are TXI 142 and the like. |

I used to have TAX 112S for a number of years but more than doulbled my money on it when I sold it. Currently have HC 51 CAB on my tx2 and my H/C plate number is 51 so it looks quite good on it (perhaps the only thing that is good on a tx) |

BO55 CAB & RO55 CAB both available now for £1,999 each. So if there's a Ross or a boss with pleanty of cash, these would be ideal. |

So if there's a Ross or a boss with pleanty of cash, these would be ideal. Good plates, but as I understand the rules on this, when it comes out you'll only be able to use the plate on a new car. The rules state that the plate must be older than the car and that you can't put a new plate onto an old car. This info was taken from http://www.regtransfers.co.uk/main/faq/ ... #Reg_no_18 You may not make a vehicle look newer than it actually is by transferring a registration that bears a later year suffix or prefix letter. For example, you may not put a plate with an S year suffix on a car that originally carried an R suffix registration. The same principle applies to prefix registrations. You may, however transfer an older registration to a newer car (an R reg plate to an S reg vehicle for example). Vehicle registration numbers that do not contain a year identifier may be assigned to a vehicle of any age. |

![]() That's quite clever Mr Flep. And here's was me always thinking that a lot of people with such plates simply couldn't spell.
