It is just getting ridiculous they have retimed the lights coming from the Asfordby road direction to prevent traffic getting through I can't believe it today 4th in queue and it took 3 changes of lights to get through and about 17 minutes all told to get through the town centre and onto the Oakham road I think it is high time the traffic light capital of leicestershire was bypassed it is getting really choked up with traffic any support for a TDO campaign !!! |

I bet round here can beat it, we've got 5 sets of lights within 100 yards of each other all working against each other. It's mayhem when the schools are on. |

Haha, You want to try living here. When i was at secondary school here, all the schools were involved in a traffic survey trying to decide the best route for a ring road. Not one person came up with the resultant "inner relief road". FFS who puts a ring road through the centre of the town. |

Then from Sunday they are reversing 2 roads while they build a new bus station the railway is getting re opened so Bam is causing Major disruptions then SBC are going to pedestrianize the other side of the town

captain cab wrote: gusmac wrote: Same shit, different wrapper? ![]() ![]() Closer than you think. My sister used to work in the pet nutrician centre. Her job was to get a batch of say pedigree chum from the production line and the first tin would be opened and the contents would be freeze dried. This sample was then analysed by a machine to determine exactly what was in it. The rest of the batch would be fed to a dog over a few days before my sister had to collect a sample of the dog poo and freeze dry this as well. This would then be analysed in the machine to see what was left. The difference between the 2 samples determined what nutrician the dog got from the food. Boy there are some good jobs out there.

Ah, one of those £100 to Heathrow places. Like Exeter. Sun: 'can we go Exeter, we came for £250, is that ok?' . . . (in a Devonian accent) I think they had reached the tenth and last taxi on T3 as I left.
