A similar thing happened to me many moons ago, so I called the AA out.

How the bloke did it I will never know, but he took it off, took it apart, put it back together again and off I went back to work.

From alternator dying, to my next job took less than an hour, and just under two quid for the bit he put back in. :D

All you gentlemen that are having a nice earned rest this weekend, enforced or otherwise?.... have a good one.

Its Mardi Gras all this weekend up here so hopefully I might be able to feed the kids next week? lol

All the best

Location: Plymouth, i think, i'll just check the A to Z!
sometimes its nice to kick back and have a weekend off. i've had one (only 1 in 2 years) off a while back. to be honest i didnt know what to do with myself as im not used to having weekends off. apart from becoming a punter and getting bladdered not a lot to do. cant really go local sight seeing as i see it all time!
total crp on TV saturday nights. i guess im not missing much by working lol

so spent a little while browsing the big wide interweb thing and came across this one:
http://earth.google.com/
(you'll need a decentbroadband connection too)

a 11mb download, may be a little geeky or nerdy for some of you but it kept me entranced for a few hours. mainly aimed at americans but i was amazed at how you could zoom right in on things and the comments left by other users and the things they have found.

made a change from the usual "adult" type stuff  :

they are coping fine m8.....just means the others guys are doing slightly more work...for a change ! ....

P/H in this village usually pulls in around £170 on a sat nite..approx (4pm-3.30am)
friday nites are usually slower @ around £140 mark.
sometimes more..sometimes less...very unpredictable...
sundays can be a hit n miss .
quite season is coming...oct/nov things die down here ....

have u ever seen the classic western where the town is dead apart from the balls of stuff blowing up the street ? ..thats this place oct/nov
