Is there a document that details all the places where London Hackney Carriages are not allowed to pick up and drop off. I know they are pretty much allowed to do it anywhere, but there are some places that I know they cannot, for example zig-zag lines on a Zebra crossing. I was wondering if there is a list anywhere?

"Parts of the roads like ped x's" .... anywhere else?

"Why?" ... because I have seen cabs pickup from Zebra crossings, so I know that some cabbies do not observe the rules, and was wondering if there were other places they cannot pick up from.

For example, I would expect that you cannot pick up from a box junction. But I do not know.

Is there a list anywhere? or a rule?

Nope.

We're strong, free access apart from flyers.

Even to the Houses of P so the crooks can get taxis.

Not quite, stopping on red routes is an instant fine, but we can set down and pick up, same with restricted bus stops.

Didn't the adjudicator man say it was waiting that was the problem, not stopping.

Couldn't find a list in the highway code.

Surely there is one somewhere?
