Council door signs

both PH and HC have em here (PH says "prebooked only", HC say "no booking needed")

(thats a joke BTW)

ive just spent an hour removing a pair and one has actually taken paint off the door due to its grip on the door and it STLL left glue behind that could seal a union official's gob....

Are they allowed to have the word taxi on their vehicles below the roof?

possibly

if a circuit has 500 PH cars and 1 hack then they usually can, or at least use "TAXI" in adverts

Should have used a hair dryer to soften the glue before you removed it, go to any spray painter and get some thinners that will remove it

have you tried white board cleaner (isopropyl alcohol) that might shift it depending what the glue is of course

It will come off. You just need to find the right solvent.

the glues not a huge problem once the vinyl is off

one side came off in 1 piece almost

the bad side came off in 1000 small bits

I did use a hairdrier

I think the vinyl has changed as the bad one was the 1st fitted about 4 years ago, the other side was a replacement

part of the problem is wrinkles if they dont go on 100% flat, water creeps in and bubbles the paint

my LO has had my compo claim for a respray

cars going tomorrow, sold on

We're getting loads of Lincoln PH round our manor just lately. Have they landed a bumper school contract?
