We operate at £2.80 flag and £2.20 a mile.

THE NATIONAL AVERAGE FARE
Flag at T1 is now £2.70 2 mile fare T1 is now £5.57 10 mile fare T1 is now £20.34
Flag at T2 is now £3.57 2 mile fare T2 is now £7.31 10 mile fare T2 is now £26.60
1 mile fare T1 is now £3.74 5 mile fare T1 is now £11.05 Running mile on T1 is now £1.84
1 mile fare T2 is now £4.92 5 mile fare T2 is now £14.49 Running mile on T2 is now £2.40

You must have to carry a hell of a lot of change, with all those odd pence at the ends, round them up or down for even money

To cheap I'd say...85p per travelled mile minimum, 10miles £17.00.

TBH it seems a bit on the cheap side. I charge around £1 a mile including dead mileage to the pick up and from the drop off back to home. On things like runs from my place to Ashford Station, the rate is down a bit, 14 miles each way, fare £25, but then there's other mugs who do the same run for £18 then wonder why they can't make money...

I did a job from next door - 8 miles each way - £25 return, but i was shopping in the same Morrisons they went to so it saved me a trip...lol
