I had a phone call this afternoon from a driver with another taxi firm. No idea who yet but he claimed that one of my cars had reversed into his 8 seater. It would seem that he wasn't in the vehicle at the time and he didn't see the incident. Both my driver and the escort, yes the same ones that I have been having the time problem with, say that they were unaware of any collision. Now the other guy is adamant that my car has put a dent in his bus and he even showed our driver the scuff on our bumper which proves that he did the damage. Now my driver, bless him, carries a camera with him at all times and took a photo of the damage. When he got back to base he showed me the scuff on the bumper and the picture. I asked him to show me on my own 8 seater where this dent was. He pointed to the place. I took my tape measure and measured the distance from this point to the floor, it was 700 mm. I then measured the distance from the scuff on our bumper to the floor, it was 500 mm. Now with escort sat in the back of the vehicle and he weight around 30 stone, how the hell did my vehicle jump up the 200 mm required for the marks to match. Should be interesting.

Just a thought ! could the damage have happened IF your vehicle went up the curb? this would increase the hieght .
It is just a thought not knowing the ins & outs nearside or offside etc ,but it could explain why .
