The TV advert says 75mpg and 1200 miles on a tank full except in small print it says "mpg figures are not actual mpg figures and are achieved in the laboratory, actual driving mpg figures may vary" i bet they do |

Quote: The TV advert says 75mpg and 1200 miles on a tank full That equates to a Sixteen Gallon Fuel tank, Surely lugging all that extra weight of fuel about would reduce fuel economy, not increase it. Why not go the full hog and tow a bowser of spare fuel behind you to achieve still further range..

the government should insist that mpg figures are ACTUAL driving mpg figures, on the streets, with no stripping out or tweaking of the engines and no 200psi in the tyres |
