Enter the tree huggers.

If and when they do get the oil to the surface it won't mean cheap fuel at the pumps, it all goes onto the Oil markets for other countries to buy.

It's been going onto the oil markets for years. Even the oil produced in the dim lights of Scotland is sold on the European markets.

And we're joined to Europe by Eurotunnel, which is also being used to import horrible foreign electricity from Belgium and France because the nimbys here don't want wind farms, nuclear power stations, solar panels or the Spanish labourers who recently built my local solar power farm.

Nope..it lies near the continental mainland of Europe and not In Europe just in the same way I live near England but not in England.

We are not Continental Europeans like the rest of them.

Let the Tree Huggers go back to living in caves if they so wish but I'd rather have the fracked Oil, the fracked Gas and a nice warm house and enough fuel in my Vehicle to allow me to pay for it and to feed my family with.

Tree Huggers seem to come in Two Varieties:

Variety one is the Tree Hugger sponging off the state and the rest of us who earn the Tree Huggers Dole money through our hard work, and in the process of earning said Tree Huggers Dole money we need Oil and gas to allow us to do so, the Tree Hugger is Ok with that as long as they get their dole....a bit of an Incovenenient hypocrisy on the Tree Huggers part that one.

Variety two is the wealthy Tree Hugger who has already made their money in part through their access to Oil and Gas which allowed their business's to thrive and create their wealth, Yet the these very same people would seek to deny future generations that same right to source and use Oil and gas just as they did. Its Nimbyism as well as Hypocrisy from the Variety two Tree Hugger.

So Frack on or Frack off...but don't tell the rest of us what we can or cannot do with the Oil and Gas that nature bestowed on us or under us..

At least you'll be safe from the Mono-Browed "It's our Oil" type of Politician that we endure up here...still, I'm sure you'll have your brand of political nasties down south just as we do..a Politician's a politician's a politician the world o'er, all hewn from the same piece of fossilised Dinosaur crap. :roll:
