Well, TPFT was 3K, he then lost 1K in deposit, before finally getting FC. And now he'll have to go private and pay for a doctor, to get his ass surgically removed from the cab, if he ever wants to have a life.

I think the insurance is so high for him because only been driving two years even though hes 35 or something... am only 27 driving 10 years and 3k fully comp will be a brand new driver/badge not sure if that's good or not cheapest i found. But i dont think i would pay 6k personally huge outlay before anything else it would bring me to tears.

You've already done 10 years. I would seriously think about getting out, rather than putting yourself in deeper. I did 20 years, and only wish. I'd gotten out 10 years sooner. Saying that, I am grateful for the appreciation I have now. :D

I'm hoping he's taking up train or plane spotting instead of trawling about taxi forums but it seems Mat is taking over from him over fifty posts and not started driving yet!

Nope, took me 5 months...mostly because of dates of tests and exams which were (only ones and earliest ones) available.

took one month to source a car!

Oh and im driving now...so suck on those particularly dry balls! :)
