has anyone tried suggesting a black box or dash cam to the insurance?

Won't do it on a Taxi mate, it's aimed at the younger drivers.

My policy requires a camera to be fitted (they come out to you, and fit it).

Not sure whether I save anything as I have to take at least half a day off work (they give you an AM or PM slot).

However I expect in the event of an accident, the claim should be sorted out quickly using the camera footage - just hope whatever happens it goes in my favour.

For the millionth time Tradex will give you 10% every year if you put a decent CCTV system in.

that only works for me if Tradex are already cheapest......
