anyone got any info on tnese biodiesel pumps that are appearing on forecourts here there an everywhe ...! is it safe to use in black cabs ,is it legal in black cabs , wot sort of mpg do you get etc etc price seems to vary down this end of the woods from 58.9 to 79.9 :D

if its on the forecourt then it must me legal, surely?

you reckon it must be legal if its on the forecourt ?.. but so is diesel oil , 77p per ltre, an if you get caught using that in your cab , hackney and coppers will be down on you like a ton of bricks 8)

Diesel oil? Is this not what we buy now and put in our tanks and it is legal?
What I am saying is that 'Derv' is diesel oil.

Supposidly some cars (e.g New Shape Mondeo, Golf/Passat PDI) can't run on it due to an issue with rubber components reacting to the mixture (heard this on another forum)
