Speaking to another driver today, he rents a car, £57 a day, 5 days a week... hes fed up cos hes only getting £400 after paying everything for 60 hours a week Hes 69 and doesnt touch the money cos hes got his state and private pension! I asked why he does it the, "cos id get bored"

Depending on his private pension, he may not qualify for pension credit. He won't be paying any national insurance, just tax on the lot. I have a retired army Captain working for me. He does around 20 hours a week PAYE. |

I bet he's only declaring £50 per week, state and private pension plus his earnings I bet he's raking in over £700 per week which puts him in the high tax bracket. |
