I Didn't listen to the first verse let alone the Sixth...that has to be about the most melancholic and dirge like national anthem in the world.

Edit: Just looked at the Wiki - In the United States, the British anthem's melody is used for the patriotic "My Country, 'Tis of Thee". Nearly correct.
