Got a pick up at terminal 1 at Manchester on Monday where is the best place to wait they will call me, and I have worked out that the pick up point is free, so they are meeting me there so they can just jump in and go

As far as I am aware the pick up points are in the car parks and they cost.

There are often people at the drop off point stopping folks picking up from there. Why don't you just charge the right rate for the job and do a proper job by doing a meet and greet?

If you're going to Manchester this Monday I hope they've opened the M56 for you. It's closed all weekend for the removal of a bridge so just check before you go as there may be a lot of congestion. If they are going to ring you there are lots of places to park up that are only 2 mins from the airport, the garage in question can get pretty full but you might get lucky and find a parking place then just go in and get a coffee while you wait. Mind you the coffee is dearer than the pick up charge

He can't afford the coffee or the pick up charge on his discounted rates which is why he is looking to pick up for free.

Why don't you charge them the fare plus drop off and pick up charges? Don't fuck about doing cheap airports then ask where the best free place to pick up from.

If they owned a pub and were selling a pint at £2.50, would they sell it you at £1.50? Would they feck as like.

I certainly wouldn't recommend leaving your car at that garage, it's ok if you're in the car but otherwise they can have it towed away. I would go and wait there until they have got off the plane etc then pay £2.90 to park in the car park for half an hour, then just charge the customer the £2.90.

Well decided to wait about 3 miles away punters called to say they where going through passport control, so went to the airport, and decided to go into the Hilton car park, got a ticket out and parked for 20 mins, they called to say they where at the drop off, so went to the exit put ticket in and the barrier opened for free went and got them at the drop off, and off we went £280 thank you very much :D :D
