Just applied to start uni in a few weeks and will combine day time study with evening driving. How many folk have done this and how difficult can it become to combine the two. I sit on my arse all day so thought it would be a good idea to get some knowledge. Infact i recently heard of a renfrew driver who was in the upper age bracket who got his degree while driving a taxi over a period of a few years. Not bad at all. Taking a LLB in law / politics.

i know a few drivers who do this. the only problem they have is when it is busy it's tempting to carry on working and earn the money like you would before. which obviously has a draw back if you need to be up early-ish in the morning and at uni. again if you get a lot of course work or 10,000 word essays to do at home it can be a hard balencing earning money to educating.

All I want to learn now is to be able to play a trumpet. So when and if I get up there I can join Gabrial's band.
