Nil for me, did you get all six at once or two lots of three?

Speeding? You need to slow down or you will be catching Taxis rather than driving them.

Nil right now, only ever had 3 at one time (thrice) in 42 years of driving including 25 of driving for a living in taxi's, trucks and the dreaded white van, and a Merc Sprinter on full chat doing sameday panic deliveries is a fearsome beast, trust me...

3 points came at the bottom of a very steep hill in Snowdonia into a 30 zone (1990), 3 came in a village i went through every week and shoulda known better (2000) and 3 came on Bodmin moor in roadworks (2006)

How long endorsements stay on your driving licence

An endorsement must stay on your driving licence for at least 4 years from either the date of conviction or the date of the offence.

4 years from date of conviction

An endorsement will stay on a licence for 4 years from the date of conviction if the offence:

is for reckless/dangerous driving - shown on the licence as DD40, DD60 and DD80
results in disqualification

11 years from date of conviction

If the offence is:

drink driving or drug driving - shown on the licence as DR10, DR20, DR30, DR31, DR61 and DR80
causing death by careless driving while under the influence of drink or drugs – shown on the licence as CD40, CD50 and CD60
causing death by careless driving, then failing to provide a specimen for analysis – shown on the licence as CD70

SP30 for me, I refuse to go on these courses because you have to notify your insurance company despite the Instructor on the course telling people they don't have to. If you don't notify your insurance company and they search the database and find out you've been on a speed awareness course your insurance will become invalid.
