Has anyone completed the PTDQ or know much this course. It is a UK taxi driving course called, "Introduction to the Role of the Professional Taxi and private hire car driver". |

I done the "VRQ L2 BTEC Award in Transporting Passengers by Taxi and Private Hire" just before Christmas http://www.aba-training.com/coursepages/transport_training/vrq_road_passenger_vehicle_driving%20_%20taxi_private-hire_l2.html Not at that training centre but at another. It's a requirement to get a Sefton License DBS & DVLA Check VRQ Course (4 full days) 40 Routes Knowledge Test Medical .......License granted |

It's the first of many As you well know I've always liked the idea of courses for drivers but they should be accurate and relevant. This week it has brought home to me how important it is to make drivers aware of the actual conditions their licenses are issued under

If a DCPC is the way to go for a D or D1 licence why not for PH and HC? the courses are set up and in place |

He had already been doing continental tours for nearly 40 years.
