got caught out with 4 of these mushrooms who decided to give me £4 fora £7.20job which to be fair is better than nowt.5 mins later the base came on the radio asking if they had left their snooker cues in the car

yes they had and ill bring them to the office next time im near which is about 8 miles from their camp.they ofcourse will have to pay the remainder of the fair to recieve said cues.

I had similar with an idiot and his mobile phone after he was non too complimentary about my choice of job, I waved it at him as I drove past him saying I'd drop it off at the office when I was next in the area. A week later I managed to drag myself there

We are supposed to hand in any items left in the car to the police station within 24 hours.
As an aside, one of our drivers came into the office carrying a rather large and very heavy bag this morning. We checked it out and it was a grave stone. unfortunately, it didn't have the name of the deceased on it.

received full payment and a £5 tip

Result, I had a young lad a few years ago, he decided to show me a clean pair of heels early one morning. I didn't bother chasing him as it was only £5, I turned the car round and made my way back to the rank. All of a sudden I heard a phone ringing, I answered it and yeah you can guess it was the lad who'd shown me a clean pair of heels asking me to take his phone back. I said, You've got 12 hours to fetch it from the office or it's being handed into the Police with a statement that you did a runner, also I want £20 for my troubles.

Seeing as it was a Samsung S4 he didn't hang about the next morning coming to pick it up.

I had similar, passenger was being a right ar$e, insults left right and centre. Few minutes after dropping off radio goes 'has the last job left their phone behind ?' Me : Phone, what phone..

I had that once. Drunk verbally abusive passenger. Phone went straight in the river.
