I am sure that I have read somewhere that in order for a civil enforcement ticket to be valid the enforcement officer must be displaying the name of the council that they are enforcing for on their person.
It would be interesting if this is the case because i was speaking to one of ours earlier and the only Council mentioned on her uniform was Oadby and Wigston. This is the other side of the County from where we are.

I would ask for evidence that the chap was approved, but really you need a ticket.

Or you could send in a FoI.
