The new one is ; You get called to collect a package and deliver it 100 miles away. When you collect the package the person giving it you asks for £100 (the cost of the contents of the package) and says when you get to the customer 100 miles away they'll re-imburse you the £100 plus the cost of the fare. Of course when you get to the delivery address no-one knows about it and when you open the package it contains a brick. ALWAYS money up front. |

Be wary of the one where a stolen card is used to purchase expensive items for collection by the taxi driver, once collected and en-route a call changes the delivery address (though the original was a fake) the "customer" appears from around the corner (usually in a car park) collects the goods, pays the taxi fare and is away on his toes, OK the fare has been paid, but Joe Soap taxi driver is on the shops CCTV with some serious explaining to do when the cops arrive... it was a regular for couriers and usually they were on a 30 day invoice so didnt get the bill paid either |
