i pulled into a lay by outside a working mens club and as i did 2 people walked behind my car,i put it into reverse but never moved until thwey were past the car on to the curb and then moved less than a foot just to straighten up.

they gave me a bit of verbal but carried on then came back claiming id hit them.i denied and said should we call the police they didnt want that.
since leaving they have called up our office i dont know what they have said other than them saying my reverse lights wernt working.

ive checked they are they wernt working when they were behind cos it wernt in reverse

Make the clip Public without blurring out their faces and you may breach the data protection laws and your life could become a whole lot more miserable.

May have been a public place, but if you caught it on your onboard CCTV you would have to get their permission before you released it and have a notice on your vehicle indicating that you had CCTV operating.

The problem is that you are a Business operator, had you been Joe Bloggs in your own car then you would be ok, your covered by Data Protection Laws of which the general public are not.

The only folk that should get to see your CCTV footage is the likes of the Police or other Authorities that would have legitimate reason to access it.

The point is that it is not being recorded. it is a live feed fed directly to a device that is placed in the view of the driver.

It must have been recorded in the above case or it would not have possible to post it on you tube.

i will edit the video out of my post can anyone else with a link in their posts do the same .

dont know whats going to happen but its a worry that such minor issues can lead to such stress and worry and eventually possible financial issues.
i must say it does have me questioning what i am doing, the anger and vitriol you receive in this job is disturbing.you really are looked upon as a piece of dirt.

Remember that if they decide to sue you for causing them injuries, it wont be you that has to pay any money, it will be your insurers. So don't go worrying about it.
