Post subject:  will magistrates laugh.
One of our drivers is getting done for obstruction

0330 hrs in the early morning cab driver gets flagged at traffic lights, punter opens door and waives 2 of his mates over from distance to come to the cab, police behind pulls the cab for obstruction, can this be so, will it get laughed out of court??? are there any known test cases.

I would get him to contact your local newspaper, they love stories like this and the police hate them. :wink:

If I was him I would just say he was loading his vehicle. :-$

it might depend on weather it was traffic lights at a junction, or a crossing. if it was a crossing then he might get done for stopping/loading on the zigzag lines.

I think he was pretty unlucky to even SEE a copper that time of night.
