Sad to see Omar Sharif has kicked the bucket!
Remember Peter O'toole getting me to pick Omar up who Peter called Cairo Joe. I arrived at terminal 3 equiped with a sign stating "Cairo Joe" now i didnt have a clue who Joe was, but noticed this geezer wandering up and down being surrounded by Paparazi, he looked familiar anyway he eventually approached me and said has Peter sent you, yes indeed sunshine anyway Peter wanted him delivered to The Bell boozer in Kilburn at that time the Raas [Sinn Fein} gargle shop of choice.
when we arrived about 9pm the place was buzzing with plenty of rebel music anyway Peter said will you hang about and drop off later, fekk that i said do you want to me die of the DROUGHT anyway a rather boisterous night followed and i got a sherbert home at about 4 am.
the next day i popped upto O'tooles gaff and Cairo answered the door,you after yer fare i suppose he said? Peter was still recovering, to cut a long story short he Cairo bunged me £250 lumps, and much to my disappointment i never picked him up again.
