If a taxi firm which is running with an all hackney fleet moves their base from District A to District B but has all their vehicles licensed in district A and takes all their calls at an office in district B is there any issue with the legality of that as they do not need an operators license as they are an all hackney fleet Please Advise |

If they are all Hackney I don't think they are doing anything wrong provided that they don't pick up off the street in the district that they are not licensed in. |

Seems good to me, hopefully the new offices will be half the price of the old ones |

So 1 central base could handle calls from anywhere and resend to hacks in any area legally? |

It is only private hire outside London that can't do this until the Deregulation Act comes into force. |

(pass work to a Scottish hack) |
